Description
Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) is a constitutively expressed housekeeping protein (HKP). The GAPDH primary antibody can be used as an internal loading control for normalization. The expression of GAPDH, or any HKP, should be validated to ensure that its expression does not change under experimental conditions. Once validated, GAPDH primary antibodies can be used for the detection of GAPDH when performing multiplex Western blot detection.
